An over active immune system causes the body to attack “normal” substances in the body as well as bacteria, viruses and foreign substances. Autoimmune diseases result from an over active immune system. | Veterinarians frequently prescribe steroids to help suppress the immune system. However, long-term use of steroids can create more health problems. These include increased thirst, elevated blood sugar, fluid retention, behavioral changes, slower healing times, Cushing’s disease, muscle wasting and leaching of calcium from the bones. |

Salmon Oil capsules
The Omega-3 fatty acids found in Salmon Oil help to regulate the immune system. The maximum dose per 10 pounds of body weight per day is 1,000 mg, divided into two doses. Minimum dose would be 1,000 mg per 30 pounds of body weight a day. |
